Ingredients required: Regular dosa batter and Teff flour
Add a nutritious boost to your regular dosa with Teff. Add a few tablespoons of Teff Flour to the fermented dosa batter (just before cooking) and prepare just like regular dosa.
Teff flour adds a nutty, earthy flavour to the dosa, and also packs a nutritional punch with calcium, fibre, protein and iron.
Direction for use: The general rule of thumb when using teff flour is to substitute 1/4 of the flour mentioned in a recipe with Teff flour.
Teff flour adds an earthy, nutty, and mildly sweet taste that goes well with most cuisines and recipes. Teff flour can be used, as directed above, in recipes for bread, cakes, cookies, pancakes, and much more.
It can also be added to batters for dishes like dosas, idlis, and rotis.
